Psyched Paddleboarding are passionate about protecting the environment and we strive to help promote eco tourism and delighted Wales is becoming known a sustainable destination. We want to help to inspire and educate others to do the same. At Psyched Paddleboarding we do our upmost best to minimise our impact on the environment. Below are some of things we do to help:

• We use Starboard as they are the most environmentally conscious paddleboard brand on the market (plan a tree for every board sold, pay money to a tax, provide litter pick hooks, paper and cardboard packaging, paddle bags made from recycled plastic bottles on the beach, partnered with Parley,  they pay taxes to help fund beach cleans across the globe)

• We are a Plastic Free business using the Surfers Against Sewage Community Grassroots Toolkit

• Where we can we use local milk in glass bottles

• We are partnered with Planet Patrol enabling people to join us on the water for a monthly litter pick

• We encourage our paddlers to get involved with litter picks when on sessions

• We are partnered with Starboard enabling our customers to offset their carbon emissions with coming to see us by planting trees.

• We use environmentally sustainable packaging and wrapping and with every order the supplier plants trees in deforested areas. Printing uses plant based inks too

• The products we sell in the shop and online are made from recycled materials, such as recycled fishing nets and bottles

• Our branded merchandised is made from either 100% organic cotton or from recycled plastics

• We love to recycle

• We have banned the use of single use plastic bottles on sessions

• We provide reusable mugs for our refreshments

• We wash our kit in Suma cleaning products and use a refill system

• We wash our kit in Guppy Bags to reduce micro plastic fibres washing out into the water system

• We offer Refill to our paddlers

• We are a Surfers Against Sewage business member

• We are the North Wales Wildlife Trust business member

• We educate our paddlers about leave no trace

• We educate our paddlers about sensitive habitats in North Wales

• We educate our paddlers on the guided tours about the marine code

• We educate our night paddlers about light pollution
